I first made my Dog series as small sculptures as presents for my grand children while I was at my Foundry in Thailand in 2010. It is a long story that involves a giraffe, two rattle snakes, two swans, as well as a pack of Dogs doing fun things.
I made the large sized Reading Dog in 2012. It was cast in bronze in 2013.
One of these Reading Dogs will installed at the Public Library in Chestertown, Maryland. Another is at the Peabody Institute Library in Danvers, MA. Another is on Main Street in Falmouth, MA. Some are in Private Collections.
